A young man has been taken into custody following the fatal stabbing of a woman.
The 23-year-old victim was discovered by authorities at a residence on Ziegler Avenue in Kooringal, Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, around 11:45 AM on Saturday.
Emergency medical personnel made attempts to revive her, but unfortunately, their efforts were unsuccessful.
Aged 18, the arrested individual was apprehended at the scene and transported to the local police station for questioning.
Additionally, another man reportedly left the location before authorities arrived.
It is believed that all parties involved were acquainted with one another.
