Hoto Launches Cordless Soldering Iron that Heats in Just Three Seconds

Hoto Launches Innovative Cordless Soldering Iron with Modular Design

Hoto has unveiled its first soldering iron, the I-A06 Cordless Soldering Iron, as part of its modular Snapbloq collection. This unique collection allows users to build their own custom toolbox by stacking magnetic cases and tools, providing flexibility for makers and DIY enthusiasts.

The new soldering iron heats up to just over 200 degrees Celsius in approximately three seconds. It boasts an adjustable temperature range from 100 degrees to a maximum of 450 degrees Celsius, complemented by customizable presets for quick access to preferred settings.

The full kit of the soldering iron is available now for $99.99 and includes a C245 knife tip as well as additional tips suited for various tasks such as wood burning. For those who prefer just the soldering tool, it is offered separately for $79.99.

Compared to alternatives like iFixit’s FixHub Smart Soldering Iron and Pine 64’s Pinecil, Hoto’s soldering iron is considerably thicker. This added bulk is attributed to its built-in rechargeable 2,000mAh battery. While operating cordless, the device delivers a maximum output power of 60W, which can be increased to 140W when plugged into a power source, ensuring that users do not sacrifice performance for the convenience of cordless operation.

Additionally, the soldering iron comes with a carrying case that features a pop-up stand, offering a safe place to rest the tool temporarily while the tip remains hot.

For businesses and developers, this innovation could inspire further advancements in tool design, merging convenience with functionality.
